The WordPerfect SIG met on Thursday, April 27, 2000. We had a special guest this month - Troy Bare, the local WP rep from Corel. Not only did he come bearing gifts for each of us present, but also he brought lots of exciting news about upcoming things happening with Corel and the industry in general.
I apologize for not being able to reiterate them all here, but I'm sure you can find them on Corel's website if you are interested. For WP 2000 users: there is a new Service Pack 3 now out that is downloadable from the website. Troy gave us some demonstrations in WordPerfect, as well as in Corel Draw, Quattro Pro, and Photopaint. It was an informative and entertaining evening.
Our next meeting will be May 25 at 7:00 at the SMUD building on Elkhorn & Don Julio, Room D. Hope to see you all there!
