The WordPerfect SIG met at its usual time and place on the fourth Thursday of May at 7:00. We had a small attendance but the quality of the meeting was top notch. Dennis Taylor provided a superb demonstration of using tables, macros, and calculations, all put together to make a time sheet, which an employee could easily complete and print, for the timekeeper. At least one macro was incorporated into and run from the table.
This led us into a little more in-depth discussion involving macros and how they are created. Fascinating subject!
WP has a master document/sub-document feature, which can be very helpful, if you are writing a large document, such as a book or manual, with chapters or subsections, etc. That way you can work on a small section at a time but have the whole document together if need be.
Do you have WP questions you want answered? If so, come meet with us on the fourth Thursday of each month at the SMUD building at Don Julio and Elkhorn: 7:00 - 9:00 p.m. We are a "help each other" group learning and teaching as we go.
