Roseville Studies Computer Parts

The Roseville Chapter completed its review of the internal components of a computer with a hands-on examination of these computer parts. These included floppy drive, hard drive, tape drive and video, sound, and modem add-in cards. The purpose of each was explained. A round table question-and-answer period followed the demonstrations.

At next month's meeting (September 7th), the Roseville chapter will look at the make up of the computer Basic Input and Output System, called the BIOS. Many of you will be interested in how the BIOS affects the performance of your PC.

Please bring your problems/questions for our Q & A session. If possible, send them ahead of time to one of our officers for a little advance research.

Guests and computer enthusiast are invited to come to the Roseville chapter's meetings on the first Wednesday of each month.
