Highlights From the August Steering Committee
|
- Everyone needs to razz Gary Sloan about getting his membership dues up to date.
- Don Frieze reports another good month, $6,500. The membership renewal notice effort continues to return a response beyond our wildest expectations. Don transferred $10,000 back into the money market account.
- Expenses being virtually nil, SPCUG's annual net income may approach $10,000. Discussion ensued about thinking of forming a committee to look into the possibility of restructuring monthly dues—Multiple years, Lifetime Membership, etc.
- The PDF files are getting really big. We are dropping the "print" version (the larger of the two). We need an easier way to get to the Mentor List.
- Ken reports that one of our long-time columnists has passed away. Members are encouraged to remember Deep Blue by e-mailing virtual flowers to the Blue Family.
- The Webmaster will find a method of installing a search function on our Website for searching through past issues of eBlue.
