WordPerfect SIG Looks At Linux

The WordPerfect SIG met, as is our custom, on Thursday, October 26th, at the Foothill SMUD building. It never ceases to amaze me that, even when we have a small turnout, we still have a fun time as well as a learning time.
This month our resident guru, Dennis Taylor, brought in a machine on which he had installed Corel's Linux and of course, WordPerfect. He gave us a very thorough tour of Linux and then towards the end we still had time for a few WP questions as well. It was interesting, and nice to know, that when we moved into WP, we really couldn't tell the difference from working in the Windows version. This was a most interesting and informative session.
Although WP normally meets on the 4th Thursday each month, in November the meeting date is changed to November 30, and in December it is changed to December 28, on both days from 7:00 to 9:00pm. If you have WordPerfect, Presentations, QuattroPro or Paradox questions, come join us!
