The Sacramento PC Users Group is pleased to announce a new service we have arranged for our members. Your club officers have decided to join the Sacramento Metropolitan Chamber of Commerce.
As a member of the users group, you have several benefits available to you without any additional charges.
If you have a business, you can advertise your business at the Chamber Lobby office. You need only take your business cards or brochures to their office and display them in the racks provided. The only requirement is that whatever you display must identify your affiliation with SPCUG.
You can use the Chamber's bulk mail permit. It will be mailed at the third class rate. You must follow Post Office regulations that, among other requirements, your mailing must include at least five zip codes and a minimum 200 pieces of mail. If this fits your mailing requirements, you can save $0.12 on each piece of mail.
There are approximately 40 network mixers and events each year. Some of these are free to you as a member of the users group and some have a nominal charge to attend.
I have personally attended the River City Small Business Trade Show on November 7 and was impressed with all the companies that exhibited. Information on these events is available at the Chamber office, and we will publish it in the near future.
You can use the services of the World Trade Center that is in the same building as the Chamber offices.
A talent bank is available for two hours of free consultation with marketing experts, accountants, and law experts. This service is currently under-used, and if you have need of one of their services or you want to list your business, please contact one of our officers or the Chamber for more information.

- Two-for-one discounts at regional arts venues.
The office of the Chamber is at 917 Seventh Street, Sacramento, CA 95815. The Chamber has a membership of nearly 3000. You can visit the Chamber lobby and pick up any literature of anything that might be of interest to you.
