Highlights From the December Steering Committee Meeting

- Treasurer Don Frieze has arranged for Steering Committee to use the Sizzler meeting room for all of 2001, making it unnecessary to find a new meeting location.
- Treasurer Don Frieze reported a net income of $596, including $240 in ad revenue. Advertisers will be billed after the issue containing the ad appears.
- Membership Director Diana DeMuth reported 662 members. We voted to reduce the dues to $30 a year since our costs have been reduced significantly. Existing members will receive 13 months if their renewal date extends to June 30, 2001, or later.
- Roy Korb brought a bunch of Chamber of Commerce magazines and presented a summary of additional benefits.
- The policy concerning limits on free table use by members for selling personal stuff was clarified. Table space can only be used for two consecutive months and must be reserved in advance.
- APCUG Representative Milt Hull reported that APCUG installed the new officers.
- PR Coordinator Diana DeMuth reported that many of the newcomers at meetings were coming to the meeting because of the notices in the Sacramento Bee.
