SPCUG Update



Products Available For Review

Sacra Blue occasionally receives products from companies that are interested in seeing those products reviewed in our newsletter. You can apply for a review product by talking to the Editor at general meetings, who has the products available at the Sacra Blue table.

When you apply to review a product, you agree to return a review two meetings after you apply for the review. See this issue and past issues for style considerations; reviews should be 500-750 words. When you turn in your review, you’ll be eligible to review another product for our newsletter. If you can’t turn in the review in two months, please let the Editor know as soon as possible.

Here are the products we have available right now for review. All products are for Windows 95/98/NT and come on a CD-ROM unless otherwise specified.

 Live Art 98: This program contains thousands of clipart images that you can rotate, light from different angles, and animate so you can create thousands of unique illustrations for your documents.

Revision Master: This is a program that tracks document control. If you want to keep track of multiple versions of the same document, this program thinks it’s pretty good at doing that.

Internet/Intranet Design Shop: This all-in-one package lets you create Internet and intranet Web sites with a minimum of programming.

MediaRing: This product lets you talk on the phone via the Internet. We have several copies, each with 2 CDs so you can talk with a friend.
