Steering Committee
April 15 Steering Committee Notes
  • Treasurer Don Frieze is compiling a list of the group's physical assets (BBS equipment, printers, etc.) to ensure proper tax reporting and to identify who has what.

  • Tim Cardozo will ask the Sheriff's Department to return our 1996 and 1997 financial records used in the case against Shorter Rankin so we can complete our tax returns.

  • Due to reduced usage and the availability of other means of communications (i.e., Web site and discussion list), the committee is considering shutting down Sacra Bytes. Milt Hull, Larry Clark, Frank Leonard, Don Frieze, and Ken Hopkins will investigate ways to provide the desired services.

  • At the request of members, the group will attempt to shorten meetings by reducing Q&A to 20 minutes, and rotating monthly presentations by the librarian, editor, and BBS sysop. Our goal is to close the meeting by 9:15 p.m.
