Our chapter's June 2 meeting was held at the Helling Library at 7:00 p.m. The meeting
opened with the question and answer period. The first question was one that we
havent found the answer to yet: Does Windows 95/98 have an unformat
command? I dont think there is; I wasnt able to find one. If anyone can shed
some light on this, please let me know. We also talked about start pages. I recommend
www.hotsheet.com. It has over 200 links, all nicely categorized.
| If you dont have that option, it wasnt installed with Windows 95. You can install it at this time through the Control Panels Add/Remove Programs command. Once you start Character Map, youll notice that even fonts like Times New Roman and Courier have unique characters included in them. Once you see the character you want, highlight it, choose Select, then choose Copy, which copies it into the clipboard, where you can paste it into any document. Come up and visit our chapter. Information is on our Web page at www.nccn.net/~ncpcug/. —Dean Scanland |
