Brian Smither will convert the shareware library to a Web-based "virtual library," which will offer descriptions and links to approved programs, without using up a great deal of space that we would need to store the programs. This information will be available to the public, too. If interest warrants, Brian can offer the entire library on Zip disks at a cost of $15 to members, who could exchange their disks to get the latest updates at any time for an additional $5.

Other business covered included a discussion of SPCUG's participation in the KVIE benefit auction scheduled for October 23-24; the demise of the Sacra Bytes BBS on September 9, which will save SPCUG about $100 per month; and Tim Cardozo announced his resignation as APCUG representative. Milt Hull was appointed to replace Tim. The committee also discussed our current printing contract for SacraBlue with Commerce Printing, which will continue through the end of 2000.
