July's WordPerfect SIG meeting fell the day after SPCUG's main meeting. Usually there is week in between. Since our usual demonstrator, Dennis Taylor, was out of town, another of our members graciously brought her laptop for use. (Thanks, Terri.)
We don't always limit our meetings to just WP questions and answers but we try to help anybody who comes with a computer question or problem. Tonight some learned that you can screen print in Windows. To do this, you just hit your Print Screen button, which puts whatever is on your screen into the clipboard. Then open WordPerfect, or any word processing program, and paste. You can then print the picture.

There was brief discussion regarding a macro called FILESTMP.WCM, which places the file name and path of the current document in a header or footer. This can be very useful if you deal with many versions or many different documents.
For any of you die-hard 5.1 WP users still out there, if you are looking for any old WP magazines or Cobb Group articles, or if you have need of multiple macros, send your request to esmall3525@aolcom. She has all this and would like to find a home for it rather than just toss it all.
The next meeting will be August 26 at 7:00. See you there.
