Treasurer Don Frieze distributed a letter from the IRS, whici waived any penalties for late filing of SPCUG's tax returns for 1993-1998. We are still awaiting notification of our status from California's Franchise Tax Board.
SPCUG's president and treasurer will be made authorized signers on the bank accounts of all chapters, and of any SIGs that have funds, effective January 1, 2000. This authority will to be used only if the subgroup ceases operation.
The equipment formerly used by the Sacra Bytes BBS will be offered for sale to SPCUG members. Items will be advertised on the members' discussion list and in Sacra Blue classifieds. They will be sold to the first person offering the asking price.
A number of members have review copies of products but have not submitted timely reviews to Sacra Blue. Frank Leonard will contact them, and Chris Graillat may begin publishing violators' names. Chris announced that she plans to step down from the editor's position after the June 2000 issue.

Our Web site now includes the Consultant's Corner, a Member Forum and the Mentor List. The last appears every month in eBlue and bimonthly in Sacra Blue. Frank will begin posting the eBlue passwords on the discussion lists, where members can access them from their computers.
Frank has copies of all issues of Sacra Blue except for issues 1 through 4. Anybody who has them is asked to please donate them to the group's archives.
Eric Butow is forming a committee to develop a public relations plan through June 2002, SPCUG's 20th birthday.
Wildfile will donate $5 to the SPCUG scholarship fund for each copy of its software, GoBack, sold at the October meeting.
